This is a rather strange technique however it absolutely works if you are unfortunate enough to have to deal with a heavily stained toilet bowl. We are not talking the type of stain bleach will remove, rather when the porcelain typically below the water line has become stained over years of poor cleaning. Believe it or not - a litre of coca-cola will do wonders with such stains.

You might remember perhaps putting an old copper coin in a glass of coke as a kid to see the coin appear in pristine condition after a few moments. Coca-cola has remarkable cleaning properties and will wipe out even the most stubborn stains if you leave it for a few hours.
